The concept of Auctionation is evolutionary. We started as Real Estate Investors looking for fresh ideas for buying, selling and managing our property portfolio. As we pursued non-traditional commerce methods, we kept returning to the same idea: Let's bring a large group of buyers and sellers together into one place at the same time. The idea of auctions emerged. Since auctions are no longer reserved for only the foreclosures, dilapidated properties or sheriff's sales, we started to consider auctions as a viable path.

In our pursuit we found that over 75% of people looking to buy properties consult the Internet first. With this knowledge, we acquired a long-time vendor, a Marketing and Internet Communications firm specializing in online auctions. Now, with our 25+ year background as a builder and property investor on Cleveland, Ohio's West-Side coupled with our in-house Marketing Department's depth of award-winning creative concepts and technical expertise in auctions we had a firm direction. We decided to maximize our capabilities and merge both talents to create a new-age marketplace, one where buyers and sellers need only an Internet connection to reach each other.

As we pursued the property auction market, we found ourselves presented with properties for auction that sometimes included the contents. We quickly realized that we could be more helpful to our clients if we offered turnkey auction services of not just the property, but of the entire estate. We now boast a new and cutting-edge, custom-built auction marketplace where we find the right buyers and sellers for nearly any product.
